Timothy started asking for a bike a year ago, when he saw some of his friends riding around. We put him off, thinking 2 was just too young, and said "When you're 3". Well, this poor kid's birthday is in October. The END of October. Given the size of our apartment, it just didn't make sense to buy a bike that he wouldn't even get to ride for 6 months. So again, he was put off. This year, as soon as the neighborhood bikes made an appearance, all we heard was "NOW, can I get a bike?" Off we went to the store to look for bikes that would fit our (still rather small) 3 1/2 year old and this was what we came home with. He loves it and is really getting the hang of starting and stopping on command. Unfortunately, it snowed (twice!) the week after we got it and he hasn't been able to practice lately. Looks like another Timmy milestone has been reached...where does the time go
